Microsoft doesn't always produce bug-free software, but they have come very close to perfection this time, with Office Home & Business 2010.

I was running Office 2003 on my personal computer and Office 2007 on my work computer. Going from 2003 to 2007 was a less than a pleasurable experience. The change was drastic, getting used to the ribbon was not easy so initial productivity with Office 2007 was not improved. It took time to get used to.
Office 2010 on the other hand was easy to work with, especially Outlook. The software loaded flawlessly and I am enjoying using the applications. The compatibility between Offcie 2003,2007 and 2010 on Office 2010 is transparent.
I am glad I switched.

Running on Windows 8, nicely intuitive for longtime Microsoft Office users. Easy to find settings and options. Was really quick to install. Even after upgrading to Windows 8 pro the system remembered the Office key had been started, so no having to redo. Primarily use Word and Excel. Very easy to convert from compatibility mode on old documents, and it remembers how you want to handle those changes for the future. Interested to see the next iteration of Office, this box comes with free upgrade to the next version.
